Today is Tuesday. I don’t know about you, but I love baking. Cakes, biscuits, pastries, you name it! What I lack for in cooking, I make up for in baking. I definitely get it from my Nan. From a very young age, I would bake all sorts of yummy deserts with her, even our family birthday cakes! However, today I didn’t want cake. I wanted some sort of biscuit, preferably on the healthy side. A rather unusual combination isn’t it, a healthy dessert?

Pancakes at my Grandparent’s House

Today is Monday. I’ve noticed that everyone has a safe spot in this world. A place where they feel most comfortable, most relaxed, safe. For me, that’s my nan and grandad’s house. I agree, it’s very corny but I don’t care, it has always and will always be my safe spot. Yesterday, I stayed in my grandparent’s house and decided to kick off the day with a scrumptious start. By that, I mean pancakes! I used my nan’s recipe and I must say they turned out absolutely delicious!

The Movie Addict Tag – May

What was my favourite Movie for the month of May?

Today is Thursday and here’s something new for my blog! Enjoy!

“Vertigo” is a film made by one of my favourite directors in the entire world, Alfred Hitchcock. I’m sure you have heard of Hitchcock or at least some of his works including; “The Birds” “Dial M for Murder” “Rear Window” and one of my personal favourites “Psycho”. I’ve been watching Alfred Hitchcock films since the age of 7 or 8. I cannot take credit for discovering Hitchcock as that was my mum’s doings. My mum is a huge film fanatic and it was she that got me addicted to Hitchcock. Vertigo was one of the last films I watched of Hitchcock as there was so much hype around it. It almost turned me off watching it. However, I rediscovered this classic during the month of May and I’m never looking back. Without a doubt, it is one of my favourite films in the whole world and it truly did take me on a spell-bounding, whirl wind of an adventure whilst watching it.
